    I feel that the negative reviews for this item are unfair. Nowhere does this jacket claim to be thick and warm. If you live somewhere that gets tons of rain and precipitation, it's important to have rain jackets of different thicknesses including summer weight like this one. This jacket is indeed "tissue weight," which is just what we needed for warm Spring rainstorms, and it's priced accordingly. It's ultra lightweight, packable, and a bit breathable. It doesn't have any added liners or mesh, which again is what we wanted. The quality is great and it looks sharp. It does run a bit small. My daughter is a petite 7 year old and I got her the Small, which fits perfectly She probably could've fit the Medium with room to grow into it next year. This is the sort of material that will soak through eventually. It's like a windbreaker as opposed to a rubber glove. Perfect for rain in warm weather.

    Buying this product was a great choice! It is a very thin jacket that could easily serve as a windbreaker, with a color that is the exact same as in the pictures, which is a pale dusty lavender. It is true to size, and it is a good fit, but when you bend your elbows it is slightly tight. It is extremely quick drying and great quality! it has multiple pockets and the front two are extremely deep! It was brought to sleep away camp and held strong.

    Bought these in two colors for my 7 and 8 year olds and they fit true to size. Quality is top notch, and they kept my kids dry in Orlando storms and on water rides. They fold up tight in a backpack, and my kids could easily zip them. They are thin but did provide an extra layer in cold restaurants.

    Columbia is the best brand! You cannot go wrong with this jacket. It is light. This is not thick. It is a thin jacket that you can wear during the summertime. Mostly for rain. We bought this and went to the amusement park and it literally rained all day and it does get soaked, but it dries so quick. This is not the kind of jacket that’s gonna keep you warm. This is literally just a jacket for rain or in warmer weather. It doesn’t have pockets. There is a spot for you to write your kids name on the inside which I thought is great. It has many different colors to choose from. We have bought this three times and three different sizes and it is just great quality. You can wash these but make sure you hang dry them. Great purchase!

    My daughter LOVES her new raincoat! The color is vibrant and fun! It's a perfect lightweight material for spring and summer months when you get caught on those rainy days. We love that it's easily packable for trips and guaranteed to keep our daughter dry. We sized up a size just because we find Columbia does run slightly small in the torso, at least for my daughter who is typical height for her age but not stick thin.
