Chalky surface and lightweight, but not in a good way. This mat feels foamy compared to name brand yoga mats out there. I wish it was a bit more dense and had a grippier surface even if it added to the weight. I do like the contrasting dual tone and plain surface without any loud graphics. Good mat for beginners but I know it will annoy me over time especially because I usually use my mats for +10 years.

This yoga mat is light and fairly thin, but it still feels like good quality. I mainly use it outdoors on the ground, so I usually place a towel underneath for extra cushioning and that setup works well for me.
The texture has a nice grip which helps keep my hands and feet from slipping during poses – safety first! It's also easy to carry around because it's so lightweight, which is great if you need to bring it with you to a park or class.
I ordered the red/matcha green color but it's more of a purple/teal. The colors are still nice though, and I actually like the contrast between the front and back sides of the mat.
The size is pretty standard and fits my body frame comfortably (I am 5'7" and 150 lbs). It gives me enough space for practice. Overall, it's a simple, functional mat that is easy to use and transport.
